Black Forest Cherry Cupcakes

Ingredients (for 12 servings):

  • 1 glass efko Cherries pure (no sugar added)
  • 120 g butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 pk. vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 80 g cooking chocolate
Garnish: 12 cherries, whipped cream, chocolate flakes.
Furthermore: muffin tin, muffin paper forms


Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Line a muffin tin with paper forms. Drain the cherries, put 12 cherries aside for garnish and halve the rest of the cherries. Melt the cooking chocolate over bain-marie.

Stir soft butter with sugar and vanilla sugar, put in the eggs and add milk. Add flour and baking powder. Mix in the melted chocolate and the halved cherries. Spread the dough on the paper forms in the muffin tin. Fill up the forms to about 2/3. Bake the Black Forest cherry cupcakes for about 40 minutes and let them cool down afterwards.

Garnish the delicious cupcakes with whipped cream, cherries and chocolate flakes.
