Roasted Salmon Steak
with Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • ½ Glas efko Horseradish
  • 10 g butter
  • 2 tsp flour
  • 100 ml vegetable soup
  • 80 ml cream
  • 2 cl white wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
Salmon Steaks:
  • 4 salmon steaks, organic
  • salt
  • a little oil for frying the salmon fillets

Side dishes:
boiled potatoes
Garnish: dill


Salmon steaks: Heat a little oil in a frying pan, sear the salmon steak on both sides. Take the salmon steaks aside and keep them warm.

Horseradish sauce: Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the flour and mix well. Pour in the white wine, cream and vegetable soup, add the bay leaf and let it boil for 5 minutes. The salt and pepper the sauce. Season with nutmeg and the grated horseradish.
Arrange the fried salmon steaks on warmed plates with boiled potatoes and the delicious horseradish sauce. Garnish with fresh dill.
