Red Cabbage Dumplings
on Lettuce


Ingredients (for 4 servings):

Baked red cabbage dumplings:
  • 1 pk efko Wild & Gansl Red Cabbage
  • 2 whisked eggs, flour, bread crumbs
  • oil for baking

 Salads:
  • 1 iceberg lettuce, 1 radicchio salad, 2 chicory

Marinade:
  • salt, honey, apple-balsamico vinegar, olive oil


Preparation:

Form medium sized dumplings with the efko Wild & Gansl Red Cabbage and place them in the freezer for about 2 hours. 

Wash the salad and prepare the marinade. Bread the red cabbage dumpling by coating them with flour, whisked egg and breadcrumbs, then once more in egg and the breadcrumbs. Bake the red cabbage dumplings in hot oil until they are golden and let them drain on a paper towel.

Arrange the lettuce with the marinade and serve the delicious red cabbage dumplings on the marinated salad.
